Opera Australia Negotiations Begin

ImageAlliance representatives met with Opera Australia management this week to commence negotiations for the 2008 collective agreement. Both the Alliance’s list of general claims (those applicable to all employees) and individual claims for Equity (performers) and ATAEA (technicians) were discussed. Opera Australia also presented the Alliance with their log of claims. Big ticket items include the Alliance’s claims for a 15 percent wage and allowances increase over a 3 year agreement and an increase to 10 percent superannuation. The next meeting to discuss general claims is scheduled for Thursday February 14. Click here to download the Alliance's claims and Opera Australia's claims.
