Protecting Our Culture And Free TradeThe Alliance, continuing its campaign to protect and preserve Australian culture, has made a submission to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade about the proposed Free Trade Agreement between Australia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Alliance believes equitable free trade agreements are best achieved multilateral rather than the bilateral and plurilateral agreements being pursued by the Government and stresses that Australia's media, audiovisual and cultural industries must not be compromised by any free trade agreement with the UAE.
