Securing Better Conditions For Opera Security

ImageFollowing a hearing in the NSW IR Commission, the Alliance has presented management with more than 20 issues raised by past and present security employees that will require an independent investigation. The company agreed to the investigation after security staff walked off the job last month in frustration at management practices in their department. The catalyst for the dispute was the dismissal of a duty security manager for trying to control abusive members of a booze cruise. An unfair dismissal hearing is scheduled for the end of October.
