TV Technicians Protest Pay
Monday, 27 October 2008

ImageMore than 60 screen technicians at Global Television in Melbourne have signed a petition urging the company to meet with the Alliance to discuss their conditions. The company told crew earlier this year that the pay increases previously agreed to would not occur in some instances and there are now also issues with travel arrangements, hours of work and annual pay increases. Global television owns and operates studios in Melbourne and Sydney that are used by the commercial television networks and Foxtel.
