Equity and the cast of Buddy!The Buddy Holly Story have recovered $5,000 in unpaid wages for promotional work done in Sydney and Melbourne. The cast agreed to accept 50 per cent of the total claim as a sign of good faith towards the producers. In addition, Equity and the cast successfully negotiated an ASM loading of $42.11 per week for all cast members doing work back-stage. This means the cast receives $10,000 in loadings during the Brisbane and Melbourne runs.
