A win for Fury Road crew

ATAEA SectionNegotiations for Fury Road conditions concluded last week. Film tech members have been working together since December to secure fair and reasonable conditions when working outside Australia. The production’s original proposal included items such as no night loadings, no triple time for standard hours, reduced Saturday overtime rates and a 35 km radius. Crew have been successful in moving the production’s position on most of the key items and we look forward to drafting a union agreement that will follow them overseas. Congratulations to all members involved. Once drafting has been completed watch this space for your updated terms and conditions.

As a result of the engagement, experienced Australian crew have lost the opportunity to work on these annual events.
