In 2008 Carole was teaching Journalism 2 in the Professional Writing and Editing Diploma at Holmesglen TAFE in Melbourne in 2008. Carole also teaches Freelance Journalism and Feature Writing plus Home Business - getting started at Holmesglen TAFE Short Courses, where she has been a trainer for four years. Her popular Japan on a Budget lectures at CAE Melbourne are continuing for the fourth year and she is starting to teach an Environmental Journalism course at CAE in Dec. 2009. She is also teaching Excellent Customer Service, Public relations for Small Business and Home Business at Kangan Batman TAFE and will be teaching Doing Business and Trade with Different Cultures at Chisholm TAFE in 2010 .
Carole has carried out public relations for a number of organisations including; Sheraton Ayers Rock, Australian Trade Commission, Victorian Department of Youth Sport and Recreation, Worker's Health Centre Sydney and for the City of Melbourne (City Baths Project). She also taught OHS, Tourism and Cross Cultural awareness at Metropolitan Business College in Sydney. She has conducted economic development and international public relations for the Western Region Commission in Melbourne and for the Cities of Wollongong and Rockhampton. All of these public relations projects have included conducting business seminars and major events, speechwriting, international and national media relations and brochure / publicity writing.
As well as her writing, teaching and public relations work, Carole is an avid artist painting bright coloured pictures for relaxation and she also produces bright coloured pottery wall hangs and other creations.In April 2010 she will be doing research for lectures and articles in China.
