Elmo Keep is an in demand writer and critic living and working in Sydney. She specialises in the all areas of the arts: as a critic, covering music, film, theatre, television and the web. She has interviewed high profile subjects from Patti Smith to KISS frontman Gene Simmons and many more in between. Her work appears in publications including Rolling Stone, DUKE, FasterLouder, MTV online, Defamer Australia, Guitarist, VICE and RHYTHM Magazine, of which she is the founding editor, NewMatilda.com and more. Elmo's extensive work as a sub editor includes stints for both Double Day publishers, and ACP, where she covers pay television for Optus Magazine. Elmo has lectured at UTS on writing for the web, and works occasionally as a trend forecaster and creative consultant for various advertising agencies and corporate entities including NOKIA and Ebay.
