I have worked as an editor, journalist and writer in very high-pressure print and online environments for high-profile companies, including News Ltd, Dow Jones, Fairfax (The Sydney Morning Herald) and Reed Elsevier. I am a lawyer and trained in economics. I am regularly quoted in the media as a finance expert. I have edited the consumer finance magazine, Your Mortgage Magazine and Your Mortgage Home Buyer’s Guide. I produced a legal e-news service for Reed Elsevier's Butterworths division. During that time, I also co-authored a book on the Australian employment market. I started my journalistic career at The Sydney Morning Herald as a business journalist. I then worked at Dow Jones Newswires as a finance correspondent, which included writing for The Asian Wall Street Journal and the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition.
