Kerry has worked as a professional writer, freelance journalist and
producer since 1989 after graduating from RMIT. She has written for and
produced magazines, web sites, education curriculum, training
materials, CD games and, more recently, multi-platform documentaries
that are produced for the big screen, television and online delivery.
Kerry produced the web site for the Australian International
Documentary Conference in 2003 and, since then, has specialised in
producing documentary web sites and DVDs.
In conjunction with
Hatchling Productions, she secured funding for the web site to
accompany the award-winning documentary THE MAN WHO STOLE MY MOTHER’S
FACE, then oversaw interface design and the production of all content (http://www.themanwhostolemymothersface.com" target="_blank" title="">www.themanwhostolemymothersface.com).
Kerry then produced the web site for the multi-platform
documentary I TOLD YOU I WAS ILL: THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF SPIKE MILLIGAN
(http://www.spikemilliganlegacy.com" title="www.spikemilliganlegacy.com" target="_blank">www.spikemilliganlegacy.com). Most recently she produced the online components for the 2007 Inside Film Best Documentary, THE BURNING SEASON, including the official site at www.theburningseasonmovie.com" target="_blank">http://www.theburningseasonmovie.com">www.theburningseasonmovie.com and the spin-off community action site, www.tenthingsyoucando.com" target="_blank">http://www.tenthingsyoucando.com">www.tenthingsyoucando.com.
Kerry is also the managing editor of the monthly magazine RESEARCH NEWS and has written
feature articles for a wide range of magazines including PFTC NEWS, QPIX NEWS, METRO, HR
MONTHLY and AUSTRALIAN EDUCATOR.
