Freelancing for in-flight and international travel publications, freelance writer and photographer Marie Barbieri has been trawling the globe for over 20 years. British-born, Marie spent several years living, working and travelling in Australia, before becoming a citizen. Marie is also a freelance travel photographer and has extensive photography archives from all of the above destinations, and can provide professional high-resolution images. She has particularly exceptional photography from Australia’s Kangaroo Island, the Flinders Ranges and the Gold Coast. Marie is planning some ideas for guide books, but firstly, will spend time exploring the colours, temperatures and curvatures of Kangaroo Island off the south coast of Australia. She then plans to devote the rest of the year to travels throughout the country, with The Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Tasmania's Bay of Fires region. Also a qualified complementary therapist who ran her own therapy business in the UK, Marie writes in the field of health and complementary therapies. Health publications she has contributed to include: Yoga, Today's Therapist International Trade Journal, Massage magazine and Nature & Health. Marie is available to discuss feature or photography assignments, including words/pictures packages on any of the above subjects.
